如此熟悉但又陌生？

以為日常生活已經了無新鮮事？藝術家作為社會文化的放大鏡，與大家重新發現社區，挖掘另一種視點與角度。

既是山，又不是山，放諸社區當中，藝術家是要開闊公眾對社區、對參與、對社區藝術的固有觀念，重新思考未來社區的可能、生活的可能、生命的可能……

社區藝術不必然只在於功能、服務或解決問題等單一模式，社區藝術也可以開闊感官和經歷，發現「境」可以隨心轉，原來環境、甚至自己，可以如此寬廣、可以如此不一樣。

計劃由康文署與灣仔區議會合辦，是「十八有藝」系列當中以灣仔區為基地，由 No Discipline Limited 策劃及邀請藝術家參與的「見山不是山」項目，在接下來的八個月，六位藝術家將以不同的媒介、形式、角度介入灣仔，只要您願意一起走出慣常，繞道看看別的風景！

Does it look familiar yet unusual?

Thought nothing new under the sun? Being like magnifiers for a society, digging deep into its cultural root, artists rediscover our community and uncover another angle to look into it.

There is a mountain, then there is no mountain. Inserting such a concept in the community, the artist attempts to broaden existing concepts on society, participation and community art, inspiring everyone to ponder new possibilities of life for the future.

In communities, art is not only functional or a mere tool for problem-solving. Community arts can also widen our senses and experience. Once our mindset changes, the surroundings and even ourselves are open to a broader world.

Jointly presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and Wan Chai District Council in launching 18dART, the programme – Mountain No Mountain to be held in Wanchai is curated by No Discipline Limited.

A community is hybrid and ever-changing. In the coming eight months, the six artists will use different media/forms/angles to step in Wanchai. If you are willing to depart from the norm, some very different sceneries are waiting for you to discover!
